Miniature Roman Gladiator Helmet
Due to its long snouted
appearance, it became affectionately known as a houndskull
helmet. This European Pigface Bascinet was
devised circa 1390.
Pig-faced bascinethelmet. Also written as

in the Roman Coliseum enjoyed this helmet's features of twin
fangs and a curved spike on top of the helmet to
intimidate their opponents. This helmet also features a

This 16th Century Burgonet helmet
miniature reproduction includes a visor over the brow and
hinged ear pieces. The helmet has a conical shape that could
easily ward off sword strikes and it extends out in the back
to provide neck protection. Made of carbon steel.

Descended from Spain, this circa 15th
Century barbute features noticeably long sides that come
down nearly to the shoulders. The barbute had an open faced
style and protected the warriors in battle with a nose guard.
The barbute extends out in the back to provide neck protection
while also making it easier to move about.

This helmet may have been inspired by the fifteenth
century Italian Barbute.

Although this Viking Helmet features horns,
research has shown that Vikings didn't wear helmets with
horns. This miniature helmet is presented to be enjoyed in
the same manner as when viewing movies where the Viking
Warriors wear this style of helmet for special effect. It is
stylishly designed with large, golden curved eyebrows and a
pair of mandibular face plates. The helmet extends out in the
back to protect the neck. Made of carbon steel and decorated
with golden studs and brass accents. The horns are made of
very hard composite plastic.

the helmets worn during the Viking warrior era is known to exist and,
according to research, Vikings did not wear horns on their helmets. Nose
